22 Mango Sheep
Actually, I haven't seen 22 mango sheep, but I DO have something to say about each of those words. First of all, the Sheep.
We were over at a friend's apartment the other night, and they said that when they vacuumed their new carpet, the dust bin looked like it was full of wool. So, since I had been slacking and hadn't yet vacuumed OUR new carpet, I decided to give it a try. They were right! I got dustbin after dustbin full of SHEEP-looking wool! It even clogged our vacuum at one point. I should have made something out of it.
Next, The Mango...
I think I am allergic to mangoes! Last night, Brandon and I ate half of a mango for a snack. I think Texas has really delicious mangoes. Anyway, shortly after, strange things started to happen. My hands and feet started to itch like crazy, and my stomach started to hurt. We decided to go to bed, but things only got worse. After a while, my chest felt really tight and it was getting harder and harder to breathe. My heart was beating really fast, and it hurt. My stomach started hurting in lots of places, and My ears felt really funny. I also got a really stuffy nose, and I could feel my pulse all through my body. It was really weird, and kind of scary. I got up to go in the bathroom, and when I looked in the mirror, my eye looked swollen. and the back of my head was kind of numb and itchy. After coughing for a while, I decided to try and breathe deeper. It took a while, but I finally started to breathe a little easier. Most of the symptoms went away, and I was just left with itchiness, a stomach ache, and a stuffy nose. After a bit I went to bed, and when I woke up, I was pretty close to normal. I felt SO good to breathe. It is sort of strange; I have never heard of a mango allergy before, but I am guessing that's what it was, because we hadn't eaten anything else.
Finally, 22.
As of today, I am officially 22! It sounds kind of old, but young at the same time. I think it will be fun to be 22. 21 was fun and adventurous. I'll just have to let you know about 22.
And just in case you were all wondering, Brandon is enjoying his job, and says that Raytheon has a long way to go before they are really lean, but they are motivated to improve. They are really into six sigma there, for those of you who know what that is. He is still, after 2 weeks, trying to get a good idea of what his job description actually is. Hopefully they figure it out soon! Texas is nice and warm. I think the lows have been warmer than some of Cache Valley's highs. We miss Cache Valley, but Texas is not so bad if you are inside, in a pool, or it is evening time. We are shopping for houses this weekend, wish us luck!

Three Days and Counting, Y'all!
Welcome to our blog! Since we're moving, we decided that we needed to start a blog so y'all know what we are up to. We also decided that we should fit "y'all" into this post as much as possible. If y'all didn't know that we are moving, well, we are. We are going to the Dallas area for Brandon's sweet new job! We are excited and nervous for this new adventure, which starts when we leave on Wednesday. Y'all.
